He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Master in Business Administration specializing in Marketing Management and attended the Advance Management program of Lagos Business School now Pan African University.
He is a Fellow of the following Institutes amongst others, Nigeria Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), National Institute of Marketing, National Institute of Sales Management, Chartered Institute of Marketing Management, National Institute of Direct Marketing, Institute of Economist of Nigeria and Certified Board of Administrators.
He has attended many Management, Leadership and Insurance Conferences/Seminars within and outside the country.
Mr. Olarewaju has received several awards within and outside Nigeria on Corporate Management, Marketing, Industrial Growth and Development amongst others.
He has substantial interest in Insurance, Finance, Leasing, Investment, Health, Stockbroking, Issuing House, Hospitality, Health care, Construction and Property Companies some of which he sits on the Board or by representation. He established Property and Pecuniary Insurance Brokers Limited in February 2004.
Mr. Olarewaju has over 4 decades working experience and voluntarily took early retirement in 2010 as Managing Director/COO of Equity Assurance PLC (now SUNU Assurances NIGERIA Plc) to oversee Polak and Mercylink Group of Companies as the Group Chairman.
